Wow... here are some fascinating figures about the Internet in 2009 - truly "gee whiz" numbers! 90 trillion e-mails just boggles the mind. (If you have trouble, like I do, visualizing just how many "a trillion" actually is, take a look at the Megapenny Project - very helpful, and interesting.)
Notice the high spam numbers - 24% increase just last year - and the malicious software numbers at the bottom. So, is your computer security software up to date? Here is a great article about Internet Security Suites - including how to choose, what you can get for free. While we're on the subject, make sure you understand and know how to avoid Scareware - those false screens and popups designed to make you think your computer has a problem so you will buy a product.
